You've probably never seen anything like this even at local league level, never mind at the elite top tier.
Toby Alderweireld took to the pitch at Wembley to face Liverpool in his usual kit - usual shorts, usual socks, usual number on the back of his home shirt, and his name spelt correctly on the back.
So what could possibly be wrong?
See what's missing? For reasons unknown Alderweireld's shirt had no Spurs crest on it. It was just a white Nike shirt with his name and number, sponsor and PL logo on it.
Is it against the laws of the game? We don't think so.
But how did it happen? We have no farken idea!
