La Liga Santander official sponsor Puma has presented the Official 2019/2020 football to be used for La Liga and La Liga 1|2|3 matches.

Puma recently became La Liga’s official sports brand with the long-term deal set to begin next season, with the ball release signalling their first collaboration with the Spanish league.

The reveal video featured the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Luis Suarez, Jan Oblak, Samuel Umtiti, Marc Bartra, and Santi Cazorla busting some moves as they showed off some silky skills.

The new La Liga football has been designed with an 18-panel heat sealed structure, creating a perfect sphere guaranteeing stability, a soft touch and reduced water absorption.

The casing of the ball has been improved to help with the aerodynamics in flight and provides high resistance to the wear and tear that comes on match day.

The incorporation of an additional POE foam layer improves the touch and increases the sensibility, resulting in a firm touch and an improved rebound consistency.

In terms of the design colours, Puma has opted for green tones that offer more visibility in the turn and trajectory of the balls.

This coupled with the Glimmer green over white, as well as the red of the Puma logo will stand out as the ball glides across the pitch.

For the first time, the La Liga match ball will also include the La Liga ‘beat’ one of the visual identity roots of the Spanish football league.
