Ranked second in the world, women’s football powerhouse Germany now also have a claim to one of the best national team jerseys going around with the recent release of their 2019 Women’s World Cup home and away kits.
Amidst Australia’s own 2019 Women’s World Cup home strip appearing to have been leaked, there’s certainly nothing secretive about the release of Germany’s stunning home jersey which appears to be a throwback to their iconic Italy 1990 World Cup shirt.
Whilst Germany’s 2018 World Cup strip was considered one of the best at the tournament, the women’s team have arguably been given a one-up on their male counterparts, with the addition of the famous black, red and yellow colourway making for a truly mouth-watering final product.

Somewhat similar to the aforementioned 2018 men’s kit, the adidas-manufactured shirt begins with a white base, but is aided by the addition of feint horizontal pinstripes across the front.
The jersey’s eye-catching centrepiece is its black, red and yellow horizontal graphic comprised of smaller, rectangular dashes which altogether resembles the German national flag, starting on the left side of the chest.
The predominantly white shirt will be paired with black shorts and white socks, completing the overall look of the home kit.
Germany’s away kit is pretty impressive too, with abstract vertical stripes comprised of small, black circles of varying size being placed over a red base colour.
The 2019 away jersey is finished off with a thick, white colour which compliments the iconic adidas 3-stripes which run down either side of the shirt.
